Who the heck uses 2009 as the starting year for this kind of comparison?! Why not 2005-2015? or 2007-2017? a 10 year statistics? 1995-2015? 20 year stats? 1985-2015? 30 year stats? I wonder what those would reveal... As that article stands, it seems designed to make the US not look so bad, in comparison.

Interesting. Public Schools are technically government buildings I suppose.
