Churches have employed the help of police to stop traffic in order for church congregants to be able to exit more easily into traffic.
I personally figure the police have better things to do and that the church congregant issue of leaving the premise should be their own business.
Every damn Sunday!
Those are officers doing one of their jobs, controlling traffic for everyone's safety. They also may be paid for by the church by paying the local city or county.

Even if the city pays for it... it's not just a service to "help people get out of the parking lot"... it's also is a service to "keep traffic flowing on the road"... so I don't have any problem with it.

um . . .
Parking lots are not mentioned in Scripture.
I'm thinking they need a revelation, or interpretation of prophesy to approve traffic control. Might be something to best run by the theologians first. A mistake would threaten their chance at Salvation.
They can't be too careful.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Only if they were killed by a driverless car.
God, "what happened to you?"
Soul, "I was killed by a self driving car!"
God, "What a stupid way to die! It's off to hell for you!"

Not nearly as spectacular as Judas exploding his intestines all over.

Finally, people with some sense. Amazing what happens when a person thinks objectively and not through their prejudiced lens.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

But...
... I just polished my prejudiced lens!
Why shouldn't I use it?

Speaking of prejudiced lens's may I suggest you avail yourself of a pair of
'Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Peril Sensitive Sunglasses' if you intend to log on over the weekend. Easter on April 1st? This will be comedy gold. The gift that keeps on giving.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.
