Have you ever heard the story of the emperors new clothes?
The emperors new clothes is a fable, however the Cokeville miracle is a true story.

It is the terminal god of the gaps. And most of you can't even grasp evolution.
In the history of science we have; Nature 100%, Supernature 0.
Some of you fucks even believe in a global flood, young Earth and talking snakes.
Too dumb to even bother with.
God of the gaps or abiogenesis of the gaps. It is the same thing.

If tomorrow morning, scientists learn how to create life in a laboratory (thus proving abiogenesis), would either of you renounce your religion right then and there? (Think about that question. Let it sink in.)
If the answer is no, stop bringing it up. It's irrelevant.
If it was proven tomorrow that conscience exists outside of the body or that the spirit really does leave the body when we die would you believe in God?

Scientists have been trying to create life for a long time.
Pity for your rejoinder to Vulcan that we have proven that consciousness is an emergent function of the brain's natural functions, then.

Emergent properties of a dysfunctional god should be studied if the OT and Koran are their evidence.
Provincial shit vs science, well they never are rational.

Some people believe God is a material entity, though.
What is a basic assumption about God according to some, is utterly contrary to his nature according to others. I'm really considering ignosticism (over agnosticism) on account of all this...

God would make more sense as material if he interacts; but there is a problem her for many godists though.

I am myself quite taken with the ignostic approach to all things concerning gods. My possibly over simplistic reading of Ignosticism is; what the fuck are you talking about!
At its very least Ignosticism takes a scythe to the interminable discussions regarding the definitions of atheism / agnosticism. Hard, soft, over easy, weak, flaccid....
Quote:It is asserted by Steven J. Conifer that to be an atheist, one who not only lacks a belief in gods but who furthermore denies that gods exist, is to give credence to the existence of a concept of something for God to refer to, because it assumes that there is something understandable to not believe in.
From here.
