He disrespected his mother. caused property damage, instead of trying to change things the lawful way in regards to the temple. Gave people some bad ideas, like "don't wash your hands". He ended up killing 2,000 pigs in an attempt to save one guy. Cursed a fig tree for not bearing fruit out of season. Came up with a plan of salvation that he admitted wasn't going to work very well, but went with the plan anyway. Told people that thoughts are equal to action, so puts no value on simple restraint. Am I missing anything else?

The death was only temporary. On the cross Jesus indicated he would be in paradise that very night.
That would seem to be the definitive maximum limit to how long He was dead, just a few hours. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
