Is deceit allowed in Islam to spread the religion?

Is deceit allowed in Islam to spread the religion?
You probably have heard about Taqqiya or whatever it is called. Some argue this is only a shia islamic thing.

But if this is not part of sunni islam, then explain this?

Asma bint Yazid narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:

"it is not lawful to lie except in three cases: Something the man tells his wife to please her, to lie during war, and to lie in order to bring peace between the people."

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1939

So subjective it seems. But if you are a muslim you of course like any fighting nation are gonna keep your self interest above others right?. So it does seem to technically allow it doesnt it?.

Not to mention you are also to protect any slander towards your community aswell.

Chapter: What Has Been Related About Honoring The Believer
Nafi' narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:
“The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) ascended the Minbar and called out with a raised voice: ’O you who accepted Islam with his tongue, while faith has not reached his heart! Do not harm the Muslims, nor revile them, nor spy on them to expose their secrets. For indeed whoever tries to expose his Muslims brother’s secrets, Allah exposes his secrets wide open, even if he were in the depth of his house.’” He (Nafl’) said: ‘ One day Ibn ‘Umar looked at the House- or – the Ka’bah and said: ‘What is it that is more honored than you, and whose honor is more sacred than yours! And the believer’s honor is more sacred to Allah than yours.’”

Not going to say you are a sock, but can be a red flag. Usually people introduce themselves in the introduction section first.

But no, lying to get attention to the club is not unique to the koran. Paul in the bible has a verse in that book of the NT says "If through my falsehood" .... meaning if lying gets Jesus and God attention then it is all good.

Islam is bullshit regardless
"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

It is more likely that you are a sectarian Muslim (probably a Shiite) who wants to bash Sunni Muslims.

Taqiya is a very, very very low, disgusting act worthy of cults and ghetto communities when practiced in "normal conditions".

According to the official definition of this act:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taqiya

Quote:In Islam, Taqiya or taqiyya (Arabic: تقیة‎ taqiyyah, literally "prudence, fear")[1][2] is a precautionary dissimulation or denial of religious belief and practice in the face of persecution.[3][4][1][5] Another term for this concept, kitmān (lit. "action of covering, dissimulation"), has a more specific meaning of dissimulation by silence or omission.[6][7]

In other words; when a "Muslim" fears persecution for their belief, it's "fine" to hide their religion. Which is pretty much "an innate capacity and a natural defense mechanism".

But the problem is in defining what "persecution" means:

Quote:google.com

persecution
pəːsɪˈkjuːʃn/
noun
noun: persecution; plural noun: persecutions
  1. hostility and ill-treatment, especially because of race or political or religious beliefs; oppression.
    "her family fled religious persecution"
    synonyms:
oppression, victimization, maltreatment, ill treatment, mistreatment, abuse, ill usage, discrimination, tyranny, tyrannization, punishment, torment, torture; More
    pogrom;
    informalwitch hunt;
    informalred-baiting
    "victims of religious persecution"

harassment, hounding, harrying, badgering, teasing, bullying, molestation
"the persecution I endured at school got worse as I got older"

    • persistent annoyance or harassment.
"his persecution at the hands of other students"

This is how all Islamic schools teach "Taqiya", except Shiite Islam. Shiite Islam teaches "victimization" and evolves "obsessively" around the concept that "followers of the Shiite religion are always persecuted". Which is a lie:

Quote:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shia_Islam

Shia (/ˈʃiːə/; Arabic: شيعة‎ Shīʿah, from Shīʻatu ʻAlī, "followers of Ali") is a branch of Islam which holds that the Islamic prophet Muhammad designated Ali ibn Abi Talib as his successor (Imam)[1], most notably at the event of Ghadir Khumm but was prevented caliphate as a result of Saqifah incident. This view primarily contrasts with that of Sunni Islam, whose adherents believe that Muhammad did not appoint a successor and consider Abu Bakr who they claim was appointed Caliph through a Shura, i.e. community consensus in Saqifa, to be the first rightful Caliph after the Prophet.[2]

So just like an angry, mad child, Shiites didn't accept that Sunni Islam became dominant, and that Sunnies are actually 90% of the Islamic population. The Shiite way is shrinking day by day, because cultism and the "ghetto mentality" were never meant to succeed.

Taqiya is dishonesty, lying about one's real faith. It's innate capacity when somebody is facing death. But it's the action of dishonest filthy fucks when practiced in the office or with your neighbors.

No wonder Shiites are 10%. It is a sick cult.

Taqiyya is only permissible to avoid persecution. If lying is what it takes to protect yourself from real persecution, the kind people flee from, I recommend it to everyone, including atheists. There's very little you can do to change an oppressive situation when you're dead.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Lying about ones faith is endemic to islamic apologists of every stripe. How one can hold it against the other isn't exactly clear to me, lowly kafir that I am. Maybe you can clear that up for me, Atlas, if you can spare a few moments from that takfir hobby of yours?

Pity, then, that the Iron Age ended sometime around 500 BC, and the Koran was written sometime around 630 AD.

Also, here's what is said in the Hadith about taqiya: "There is a consensus that whomsoever is forced into apostasy and chooses death has a greater reward than a person who takes the license [to deny one's faith under duress], but if a person is being forced to eat pork or drink wine, then they should do that [instead of choosing death]."

"If any one is compelled and professes unbelief with his tongue, while his heart contradicts him, in order to escape his enemies, no blame falls on him, because God takes his servants as their hearts believe."
