Good Christians only may answer...
It says in the Bible that whatever you pray for, if you're a good Christian, it will be granted to you. So why didn't any good Christian pray for Florence to miss land completely?  Dodgy

God will not be tested. Anything in the bible that could easily disprove him must be explained away with something else.

Sorry but all of the "christians" on this forum aren't good. Have you seen how they talk down to the majority of posters here on any topic?

Good luck with that. I'm pretty sure they're all going to hell anyway, given that they have seriously disappointed their god with their behavior on the internet alone.

If it's absurd and ridiculous on the face of it, I'm sure Drich has an explanation.

If Dripshit is a "good" xtian then god needs to stiffen the entrance exam.

They still consider “no I won’t” to be an answer from god, and they instinctively know that this will always be the answer if they wish for anything outside the mundane (that could happen anyway).

St. Columba regularly raised his hand and caused the instant deaths of numerous wild beasts, men who had spurned him, wicked men, and other enemies. He controlled the weather, he had the powers of transmutation and telekinesis, and performed countless miraculous healings. So he was a Christian who got his wishes granted or he was an X-Man.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Pat Robertson has personally prayed that the hurricane to veer off and not hit the land. Actually, not quite. He commanded it in the name of the Lord, that it will do no damage to his property.

“We declare in the name of the Lord that you shall go no farther, that you will do no damage in this area,” said the 88-year-old host of “The 700 Club” on CBN. “We declare a shield of protection all over the Tidewater (in Virginia) and ... over those innocent people in the path of this hurricane. In Jesus’ holy name, be out to sea!”

But of course, Robertson does not count as he is not a good Christian.
