Oh, Who Could Have Guessed?

Oh, Who Could Have Guessed?
Oh, right.  I did.

Greedy pigs.

Quote:Rich business execs are using Trump tax cuts to buy bigger, fancier private jets

Quote:When Republicans tried to sell their major tax scam to the American people, they said that it would help the average worker. Once it took effect, however, reality set in: The richest benefited from this handout. There’s been news of continued layoffs and store closures, while company shareholders get even more money. Workers, meanwhile, are left out in the cold.

If you want even more reason to rage about the despicable tax cuts, check out this Wall Street Journal article, featuring executives basically gushing about how the tax scam left them able to buy fancier planes.

The underpaid people of this country working hard to support the lazy rich one-percent. It's a sick monetary system we have in this deplorable country.

The rich aren't concerned with making this country greater. They'll drain it dry, and move on to the next country.

AFAIK, the grunts working and getting paychecks at the aircraft factory making bizjets aren't corporate fat cats themselves. Begrudging a thousand workers supporting their families to get back at one corporate poobah seems a bit Ludditarian to me . .

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

They also aren't a particularly meaningful portion of the electorate, nor was this handout aimed at them..nor, for that matter..are they actually made in america - even when they're sold by american companies...who routinely lose the sector to non-usian offerings.

To put it bluntly...you and I and every breathing human being knows that this had nothing to do with some guy named Joe in Wichita. He's not suddenly flush with cash, lol.

IIRC that was not how the scumbags "sold" their big fucking tax cut to the Trumptards.  "CUT TAXES ON THE TOP 1% SO A HANDFUL OF AIRCRAFT BUILDERS CAN KEEP THEIR JOBS."  I just don't recall hearing that, man.

Perhaps you were listening to FOX?

I used to work at a place like that. Best job I ever had ($17/hour in '88) before farming.

Then you should know that a tax writeoff for corporate jets doesn't do anything for the people who work there.
