I am sick of this fucking bullshit that it is up to Ford to prove it happened. THAT IS NOT why we have police, or any law agency. It is not a presumption of guilt if a crime is committed, ANY CRIME, to call 911 to call for police assistance.

If someone breaks into your house while you are on vacation, you ARE NOT THERE to see it. So by the fucked up logic by the right, you shouldn't call the police at all.

It is absolutely TRUE that it isn't the job of the police to assume guilt, but IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN their job to FUCKING TAKE THE REPORT AND INVESTIGATE IT!

It is up to the lawyers and courts and JURY after that. 

What the assholes here whom do not understand and are defending THE PRESIDENT ultimately and his behavior of bullying, AND on top of that ultimately defending OLD FUCKING ASSHOLES whom want to keep us in a religious pecking order based on the old sexism and bigotry of 50-100 years go.

The assholes whom defend Crappynuts and 45 have little to no knowledge of why rape and assault happen. They perpetuate the rate of the crime by ignoring the causes. AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PRESUMING A FUCKING THING. You fucking assholes make it EASIER for it to happen, for the same reason 50 years ago beating your wife was considered a family issue to stay out of.

YES there is a presumption of innocence. BUT police, and FBI are STILL THERE to take the report and investigate it to see who is telling the truth and who is not so they can hand that info over to lawyers and a court. 

Ford and the other accusers had no damned shot whatsoever to get just that. To have OUR LAW agencies PROTECT AND SERVE! 

Just like if your house is robbed and you didn't see it, the police can look at similar crimes after your report, they can talk to other robbery victims. It could be very easy for a suspect to cop out to , "I didn't know it was stolen".

Some people here have this stupid fucking assumption, that an investigation is as simple as believing and taking her word for it, even in cases of no DNA or sperm. No, even in so called "he said, she said" cases, it involves a hell of a lot more than that, and they don't simply go "ok"?. But regardless, when they get a call for any crime, they cant say, "We didn't see it so we won't do shit".

This entire hearing was a FUCKING sham on the part of the GOP. This was not a case of assuming shit, but a refusal on their part to allow the FBI to do it's job because for them, it had noting to do with Ford and everything to do with wanting to keep America in the days of white Christian male dominance.

Just because an unpopular, misogynistic President nominated Judge Kavanaugh - does not make the Judge guilty of anything.

And unfortunately Dr. Ford WILL in effect have to prove anything happened - as there is no physical evidence of an attack - but only the credibility of the accuser, the accused - and any possible witnesses that can cooberate either' s testimony.

I have an associates degree in computer science. My husband did minor psychology, though, so I have heard quite a lot about it the last 6 years, and have learned a lot that way. Still, I am in no way claiming to be an expert. I do try and research what I claim, though.
