You can't knowingly disobey God to obey people. And Muslims and Shiites as well, are notorious for this. They abandon God's book when having to a make decision between following their clergy or Quran. And it hasn't lead to unity either, but more and more divisions.
Idols in the heart; had they loved God more, they would have disobeyed their clergy and commanded the good that they know God commanded and forbid the evil they know God forbid.

Nothing. I wouldn't even waste much time thinking about theistic thinking. What the hell for? There better things to think of.
Perhaps the delusion is that there is something wrong with theistic thinking to begin with or that they must be "suffering" from something.
Or the self righteous attitude that one is more superior to another because of what they believe or disbelieve in.
Personally, I'm only concerned with theists' beliefs when they intrude them into our lives, which is all too common these days.
