Well the second fellow is out, he was orthodox christian, and the first fellow thought he was god.
So try again, idiot. This time without the stupid attempt at blackening the name of atheism.
Stalin: "You know, they are fooling us, there is no God.","God's not unjust, he doesn't actually exist. We've been deceived. If God existed, he'd have made the world more just... I'll lend you a book and you'll see."
Sounds like an atheist to me.
And I couldn't find anything about Mao believing he was a God, though some people may have worshipped him as such. Have any sources for your claim that he thought of himself as God?

Not this sh*t again.
Yes Stalin was an atheist, WHOM convinced a MAJORITY of Russian Orthodox Christians to put him in power. Stalin's personal beliefs did not change whom he convinced to support him. Tyrants do not oppress only religion, they oppress any and all dissent. And again you don't know your history. When Stalin suspected that Hitler, WHOM also ruled over a German Christian majority, would double cross him and invade, Stalin relaxed his restrictions on the Russian Orthodox Christian Church to gain support in the fight against Hitler. The battle between Germany and Russia was still ultimately a battle between two Christian majority nations. Which both were prior to the rise of either, and religion never left under either's rule, and both are still Christian majority nations today.
And how many times do we have to post churches in Germany and Russia of that time? And how many times do we have to post pictures of those dictators being worshiped by Christians?
Dictatorships are not an atheist patent. Saudi Arabia and Iran are dictatorships too. And as I said in another thread Cuba is a Catholic majority.

Brian I'm not sure why you constantly raise objections to points or arguments I've never made.
I merely corrected someone who suggested Stalin wasn't an atheist. Full stop.
I made no connection between his atheism and the things he did, or communism, etc....
You gots to slow down a little, man.

It’s not important if you are right or wrong. The only thing that matters to him is he is more right than you are.

I listed some of the greatest atheists of the 19th and 20th centuries. Top scientists. No interest. Ok then.
This guy here is the most philisophical atheist (if u can call him that) of the 20th century I think.
BRUCE LEE.
Check out this interview. Unfortunately I know some will dismiss his thoughts and put a labels on him which is sad.
But I'll still share this interview hoping at least one person will find it interesting.
Atheism could do with some eastern philosophy I think.
Anyway, an insight into a great mind. Enjoy

"Atheist" merely means off on god claims. It is not an east or west patent. Humans all over the world leave all the world's major religions and switch to the "off" position.
Asia has it's own religions and superstitions, and despite what some might believe in the west, Buddhism is as much a religion as any other and is rooted in it's own mythology.
I love Lee too, he was a smart and empathetic man, but that is still a separate issue for me than humans needing any religion at all.

Some people don't consider them religions because they don't worship a God. As one person here was saying.
There are definintions of religions that have God and there are definitions without God.
So with that being said wouldn't it mean that Asians are atheists seeing they don't worship a God in Buddhism, Taoism, Confuscism and others?
I personally think they're agnostic. But I know some people here will say that without a God its atheism. Do u consider Bruce Lee to be an atheist?

I didn't make that claim here. I just put forward a great man, a real deep thinker who some people may consider to be atheist.
Is that why uv been so hostile? Cos I suggested that without religion we might still be living like chimps? Animals have religions if u define it as just groups. Right
I dunno B37 u confuse me. I loved ur theory on how humans lived in societies like Bonobo monkeys.
Ur theory is one of my theories and I was hoping to ask u some questions but u weren't open to discussion. Why?
Where was the hate coming from B37? I never insulted or abused u.
No one else here even commented on ur theory. I followed ur logic and was the only one who praised it. Yet u were so hostile. Why? I don't understand that
Well u weren't hostile to me here so i dunno, if u want to talk about ur theory we'll talk. Up to u

Brian himself is Exhibit A in the argument against his own theory. He has a hostile reaction to even the slightest whiff of anything that he might potentially disagree with. He's a member of the tribe that attacks the members of other tribes for being members of tribes.
