Why don't the dictator regimes be punished by the west?

RE: Why don't the dictator regimes be punished by the west?
-and the same people who bitch about everything we do?

The irony of the great satan contingent in islam is that they desperately seek western salvation at the same time...even as their great satan fetish precludes whatever salvation is not coming. What are we supposed to do, come in and make people stop thinking like common islamic despots? Hasn't worked thusfar.

Atlas is a running demonstration of why that is.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

These words were supposedly said by FDR about Anastasio Somoza Garcia, president of Nicaragua between 1937 and 1956, one of many dictators in Latin America during that era and beyond. While there's no real evidence that FDR actually said those words, it's actually a pretty succinct summation of America's stance towards despots who actually have something that Americans actually want. In 1954, Jacobo Arbenz was overthrown as president of Guatemala for, more or less, daring to be something more than a mid-level executive for Chiquita Banana. You might think I'm exaggerating, but, at that time, Guatemala was more or less a colony for banana and coffee corporations, and, yes, the UFC actually had enough pull with Eisenhower to convince him to pull off a coup.

Now, imagine that, instead of bananas, these dictators have petroleum, which creates, among many other things, the energy that fuels the modern world. And that the supply is dwindling and that even the most optimistic estimates say that we're a few decades away from having used up half of the world's supply. And that alternative forms of energy aren't being adopted fast enough. Then you start to understand how much the West can become complicit with these dictatorial regimes. And if you think we can still get what we want with more decent people in charge, well, I would refer you to the history of Iraq since 2000 or so. No matter what you think of Saddam Hussein (and he had an alarming laundry list of crimes against humanity), he was at least a stabilising influence in the area. Do you really think ISIS would exist if Dubya didn't take him out? Why, yes, that does suck.

The reason always repeated for this support from the western side is that the oppressive regimes are a de-facto situation that must be interacted with if the west ever wanted to stay "social".

But Arab countries and the Middle East have been exporting immigrants like crazy to the west, and its regimes blocking the path on the rest to die slowly inside the walls of its regimes.

Isn't that a contradiction for the human-rights doctrines? secular morals and "it's good to be good" are a lie to the western foreign policy; in theory; but it's non-existent in the western foreign policy if not "manipulated to the core" when dealing with the Middle East is at the table.

Why can't the western populations realize that the more the relationships and the good treatment with the dictators of the Middle East go, the more immigrants fleeing from there would stack up drowning western countries, economical interests of west will get demolished and the hate to the west will increase more and more?

Forcing sanctions on the Arab regimes and taking their heads to trial, stop selling them weapons is the only way for peace.

Why is it that having had a major head start granted by circumstances 10 centuries ago, your allah left you in such tatters that you rant and rave and yet are resorted to effectively begging the west to bail you out?

Can I get confirmation on that, Atlas?  Is that what you want us to do?  When the world asks us by what right or authority we did that..I'll say "Atlas invited us". Jerkoff

Indeed.

The US is actually pretty good at that, when it suits its  purpose.

In meantime, something my American Uncle (now deceased)  said to me " You really do need to play nice with America. Otherwise we'll bring you democracy"  Cool
