Sorry, not buying into this one. This isn't a Trump issue, it isn't a concentration camp issue, it isn't even an illegal entry issue.
Trying to turn OLB's post about the ICE raids into support for the camps is like trying to turn one of his gun rights posts into support for cops shooting fleeing black people. It won't work and it's not fair to OLB.

If you're addressing me, yes, I grasp that they do not have arrest warrants. They have deportation orders, which is a different kettle of fish entirely.
As far as I'm concerned, these people should be left alone. They've been through enough. My only issue is posters here mischaracterizing what OLB said.

ICE simply isn’t doing what OLB suggested, Boru.
Sure, we can imagine that he lives in an alternate reality full of alternative facts....but in this world, in actual fact, they are operating concentration camps where the cruelty is the point without any reason, and where borders don’t exist for the purpose of being shitty to brown people.
Surely we can all agree to ground this convo in this reality and actual facts. We also don’t need to pretend that this is the first time our boy OLB has commented on the issue.
He’s the one asking the question, remember? He just doesn’t understand what’s working people up.

He wasn't talking about the camps, he was talking about the raids. He wasn't asking why people were upset about the camps, he was asking why they were upset about the deportation raids.

What do you think ice is doing with the people they snatch in those raids? Loading them into catapults and tossing them over the rio grande?
Do you believe, for that matter, that they’re limiting themselves to the bad hombres ( even under their novel definition of what that means)?

OLB is mischaracterizing the issue and the outrage. Injecting a little truth into this convo seems fair. I don’t believe thst it’s unintentional, but it wouldn’t really matter to me if it were.
He’s been given an answer to both his whitewashing question, and the question he desperately wants to avoid ( even though he knows damn well the answer).
