Well, it's at least moderately nonsensical to take the position that something with which you disagree is 'over the top'.  This is a tacit admission on your part that the opinion should never have been expressed to begin with.

It's a clear assertion that the over-the-top statement is over the top. The statement is false, exaggerated, and bigoted.

If 'false, exaggerated and bigoted' statements upset you this much, maybe the Internet isn't the place for you.  I respectfully suggest that you look into the use of placards and sandwich boards in the public square.

Most of the time they do. And they don't call it out on themselves, not where I live.
