That wasn't what was said.  If the Bidens are guilty of corruption, they should be punished for it.  BUT, if the Bidens are guilty of corruption, genocide, and puppy kicking with malice aforethought, it wouldn't make any difference regarding the charges against Trump.

And not to put to fine a point on it, there is no evidence of wrongdoing by either of the Bidens.

Well, let's look at his 'ZERO qualifications', bearing in mind that he was hired to assist in corporate governance best practices.

1996: Graduated Yale University with a law degree

1996-1998: Executive vice president of MNBA, a bank holding company

1998-2001:  Served in the US Department of Commerce

2001:  Co-founded the lobbying firm of Oldacker, Biden and Belair

2006-2009:  Served on the board of directors of Amtrak

2009: Co-founded the investment firm of Rosemont Seneca and Eudora Global, a venture capital firm

2013:  Co-founded BHR Partners, another investment firm

So, before he was hired by Burisma, he had experience practicing law, experience in corporate investments, experience in corporate management, and experience in managing government services.  If I were looking for someone to help oversee best practices in corporate governance, that's kind of what I'd go for.

Now, does any of this prove that Hunter Biden is not corrupt? Nope.  But it pretty well refutes that he wasn't qualified to do what Burisma hired him for.
