In mere reality, however, the impeachment proceedings, which are outlined by laws and resolutions and previous conduct as to how they proceed, actually have changed public opinion. That's part of why the GOP response has been to paint a new moving target every week. So changing minds, yes. Changing votes...I assume you mean changing the inevitable vote of trumps co-conspirators? OFC not. There are probably trumpers too (whose vote means jack shit in an impeachment) who were always going to be okay with anything the god emperor did, because he did it, even if they aren't okay with anything he did.
Sure. The turtleman comes to mind as a rep for both categories. He needed the hustle, and he sure as shit wouldn't want a democratic version of trump steamrolling his for-profit legacy.

Like I said, broken. Nothing about impeachment is working or will work - the asset in chief is a rolling constitutional crisis. Still, they're doing the right thing the right way..which is a bit of a rarity for dems, imo.

Yeah, sure, they're "smearing" trump....by putting forth the token effort to set in motion a doomed senate vote that only attempts to hold him accountable for a single item in his never ending avalanche of high crimes and misdemeanors.
