So you're saying that Moses won the magic duel...

Not at all, Moses's staff was a real snake, it wasn't magical trick.
If you wanted to support the Pharaoh's opinion though be my guest.

Turning a staff into a snake is magic. It couldn't be more magical if you'd taken it straight out of Harry Potter.

Your reading comprehension sucks. Facepalm

You insist on people accusing your god of trickery, while they explicitly say that your god claims to do real magic.
You are not arguing with people on this forum and what they actually say, but with what you think/whish/hope they would say. I have seen this repeatedly. You are essentially talking to yourself here. It would be somehow funny if it wasnt so sad.

No; God "literally" destroyed the magicians' toys; to the degree of them prostrating and convert to Moses's religion.
The Pharaoh went furious and mad because of the conclusion, and started a crusade against all the followers of Moses; torturing the lost magicians to death in the process.

It's not magic according to the Quran.

They are accusing God without an evidence supporting their claims.
So it's quite ironic. I'm sad for you too.

http://cosmos.astro.caltech.edu/page/structure

Quote:The universe contains organized structures on all different scales, from small systems like the earth and our solar system, to galaxies that contain trillions of stars, and finally extremely large structures that contain billions of galaxies.  How and why these organized structures formed and how they influence one another is a major focus of modern astrophysics.

Gravity works the same across the Cosmos. It is pretty organized P-T; or else our satellites and spacecrafts won't work.

The more you can see the big picture; the greater your admiration for the design -and also inventive power- would be. Einstein created the atomic bomb for God's sake.

I think you've run afoul of some of the vagaritys of the English language.

The word 'Organized' in the sense you're presenting above is simply not the same as if I were to use it in the sentence "Jack organized the boxes on his shelf from largest to smallest."

It more means that 'We', Humans, see something that looks like a pattern.
We can give explanations for why we see a pattern.
Or, perhaps, we can determin the cause of the pattern.
Much like sticking a tree branch into a river will cause swirls in the flow behind.

As for gravity being the same across the cosmos... Well it's only so far as we can tell.
In some particular places within the cosmos gravity either works to the point of breaking reality (Black holes) or it doesn't seem to actuall work at all.
Hence why currently there is a 'Place holder' name for 'Dark matter'.

While, yes, Einstein was indeed a very smart person. He didn't split the atom all on his own. (A possibly needles pedant, but I feel it should be pointed out.)

Cheers.

Not at work.

Nobody is accusing your god of doing magic, but his followers, as evidenced by all the *miralces* described in your magic book. Facepalm
If your god aint doing magic, is he strictly follwing the laws of physics? Facepalm

They can invent anything. Hell, Atlass claims his allah is the origin of the laws of physics. Sometimes its better to let them bask in their own ignorance than waste time in the futility of teaching pigeons.

RE: [Quranic Reflection]: Magic
I'm sorry, did you just say that the magic snake staffs converted to islam? That's even more magical than the initial setup.

None of that happened, btw. I don't know if that's a problem for your religion or not - from where I sit I can't imagine why it would be, but it's important to be able to distinguish fact from fiction even so. It would give you a better understanding of what magic book was trying to say, at least.

It really was as simple a message as "our god is better than all of your gods combined". Hell, that much is probably true on some level..and you lot really outta take em where you can get em, huh? The axial age didn't just sweep up one band of nutters. With the divine conceived of as the ultimate functionary, why deal with 20 or 30 capricious and unreliable desk clerks when you could, instead, appeal to a single all-powerful agent.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Magic.

BTW, putting "literally" in quotes is hilarious.

It's not magic according to the Quran.

Then the Quran is wrong. You can call it whatever you like but it's still magic.
