why faith fails

RE: why faith fails
-and something that the author had seen in his own time. An obscure and irrelevant faith had turned into a legitimate political force, and begun exerting itself.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

RE: why faith fails
Most of the time, I have faith that the unlikely will not happen.  Surely the reader can follow and think of personal examples and anecdotes.  Faith fails when the unlikely happens.  That's all.  No need to imagine a divine will or puppet master.  That takes a simple matter and makes it ridiculously complex and open to interpretation.

Sometimes I don't leave unlikely things to chance.  Others, I gamble against the odds.  I wager my brand of faith works as well or better as those who pray.  Try skipping the prayers and being more realistic and analytical.

RE: why faith fails
I think the ultimate reason that faith fails is that every so often (but not often enough) people stop having faith and start actually thinking about stuff.

I am unable to watch the video at this time but, faith is a belief system. Belief systems do not work whether someone "believes" in God without understanding Word or, science without understanding nature. The Greek word translated "faith" is pistos and means: trust, what you trust, what you place your confidence in. It is a noun of action. It is a substance and is not blind.

At times in my life I felt like I was asked to walk off a cliff and onto an invisible bridge. Yet, according to Paul and Timothy in 2 Cor 5, we walk by pistos and not by sight. The Word of God is, "The guide to my feet and a light to my path".

This has been an amazing adventure! Like a rollercoaster with amazing assents and descents and blind turns you don't expect. Yet, always directed to be at the perfect place, at the perfect time in history to be in perfect places and wham! That is the story of my life.

Jesus never asked anyone to "believe" in Him. He always used present participles which means to: keep on trusting Me. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

As far as answered prayer, God always answers my prayers, but in the negative. Yet, NO is a legitimate answer! Joking aside, always go to God as His son, as an equal, as Jesus did. Do not merely ask, but command, as Jesus did, demand or beg. Ask all things according to His fame of all that He is(NOT name? Can God do it?). Always go boldly to Him and give it the amEn if you wish. Which in Hebrew means: SO-BE-IT! Ballsy is required. Or, completely done-in and hopeless--begging. The only wrong way to pray is not to pray.

Always remember, you are not here to glorify God. The bible says the God's intention is to glorify you. "Those He calls...He glorifies". Because, if you look good to others, He looks good to others and that is what it means to be a witness, or testimony, of God's glory and power.

Always remember that we are anointed. Which is to say, we have a God given purpose and a God guaranteed destiny.

People always ask me, "Why does God bless you sooo much?" I asked God the same question. He said, "Well Bill, it's just that you remind Me sooo much of my Son!"

I must be doing something right!
My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well...she's not my girlfriend "yet".

I discovered a new vitamin that fights cancer. I call it ...B9

I also invented a diet pill. It works great but had to quit taking it because of the side effects. Turns out my penis is larger and my hair grew back. And whoa! If you think my hair is nice!

When does size truly matter? When it's TOO big!

I'm currently working on a new pill I call "Destenze". However...now my shoes don't fit.
