Gun Control Crowd Safer? - and a control group

Gun Rights Activist plan on showing up at capital -with guns - and the governor shits himself - imposing a state of emergency and banning guns from the capital grounds.

Meanwhile - more than twice as many gun rights activists showed up armed and stayed armed. -outside the capital grounds. (The control group)

Nothing happened. One girl got arrested for wearing a bandana..... Horrifying crime that...  Dodgy

So explain to me why these politicians are peeing themselves over civilians owning guns?

It seems like a better question would be, ‘Why are law-abiding gun owners shitting themselves over proposed laws that aren’t going to affect them?’

According to the article, the three proposed laws are universal background checks, banning military-style rifles, and temporarily removing guns from the possession of people determined to be a danger to themselves or others.

If you’re law abiding, you won’t have any trouble passing a background check.

If you’re law abiding, why do you need a military type weapon (to be fair, the article wasn’t specific about what this would entail)?

If you’re law abiding, how do you reasonably object to taking guns away from someone who posted about shooting up a school?

Your definition of "military type weapon" is way too loose for any gun owner.
My AR-15 took 6 deer this season. It's design allows even my 110 lbs sister to comfortably fire it.
Let's go through your posessions - and we will see how much you "need" those...
.....
Snd I see you didn't address the OP...

And ones that haf nothing to do with this rally...

Yeah, sure.  The reality of dead kids isn't what matters.

-again, max cycnicism.

It's being -seen- to be doing something (one way or the other) about it that matters.  That's why gun control plans never have to contain any mechanism by which they'd reduce whatever it is they were written in response to.

If you read the article I think you'll find that there was "pissing" on both sides.

....

So WHY wasn't there mayhem?

The anti-gun crowd insists the only way to be safe is to not let reasonable people.have guns.

There was 16,000 armed people.just outside the fence -  and there were no incidents...

You probably get more fights and arrests at an ABBA concert.

But SOMEHOW these armed people seemed to behave themselves?

Where's the anarchy the antis keep going on about?
