Kobe Bryant dead from Helicopter crash

The tearing was also consistent with rough sex and/or having multiple partners within a short span.
The results of her rape kit yielded pubic hair and semen that was not Bryant's.

She claimed that was result of having accidentally picked out a pair of sperm-y underwear from her laundry basket prior to the examination, but tbh, I have a little trouble finding that believable--Especially in light of the people who witnessed her giggling and bragging about Bryant's member AND that fact that she admitted to lying to detectives about Bryant forcing her to wash her face and fix herself up before leaving his suite.

Those are reasons to question the veracity of her account, IMO. Dunno

Quote:Also I never suggested he shouldnt be mourned or that this was justice for anything he did, I only stated that reading up on the case I think he did rape tjat girl.

Dude...I wasn't responding to you, or about you. I said "people".

I've seen your avatar around here, but I don't even know who you are.

Quote:First, I want to apologize directly to the young woman involved in this incident. I want to apologize to her for my behavior that night and for the consequences she has suffered in the past year. Although this year has been incredibly difficult for me personally, I can only imagine the pain she has had to endure. I also want to apologize to her parents and family members, and to my family and friends and supporters, and to the citizens of Eagle, Colorado.

I also want to make it clear that I do not question the motives of this young woman. No money has been paid to this woman. She has agreed that this statement will not be used against me in the civil case. Although I truly believe this encounter between us was consensual, I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did. After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter.

I issue this statement today fully aware that while one part of this case ends today, another remains. I understand that the civil case against me will go forward. That part of this case will be decided by and between the parties directly involved in the incident and will no longer be a financial or emotional drain on the citizens of the state of Colorado.

In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. After he made that statement he signed a contract worth $136 million, I guarantee that apology was a requirement of that contract.

He put his head down and had a great year, too. No one was ever going to let a little rape get in the way of making millions. I don't see any reason to doubt his version of the events. He didn't think it was a rape, he understands why she thought it was.

Meanwhile Oprah is ready to produce a documentary focusing on sexual allegations of another black male.

The chief difference in the outcomes of the two cases is that Bryant’s accuser refused to testify, while multiple women testified against Cosby. It isn’t much of a leap to imagine Bryant’s lawyers offering a civil settlement for the girl declining to take the stand.

I think you misunderstand what your linked article is about.

Boru

No, that isn't the chief difference, the chief difference is that Cosby wasn't even accused of rape, He was charged with aggravated indecent assault (he allegedly penetrated her with his fingers), he had no sexual relations with the accuser. Cosby's was only involved one accuser, not multiple.

82 year old rich Black man convicted of aggravated indecent assault = 10 years

White woman walks into black mans home and kills him and gets convicted of murder = 10 years

What the hell are you talking about? Cosby had like 60 accusers many accusing him of rape. Do You honestly believe that he was mistreated because of his race?

*emphasis mine*
He was forced to take that position.

Look at Cosby for example, he was convicted SOLELY on what he said in an affidavit that was SUPPOSED to be under a confidentiality agreement, when he started to deny the allegations against him, they used that as an excuse to release the affidavit by claiming his denial of the allegations violated the confidentiality agreement.

Neither party admits guilt in a settlement, therefore if Kobe states unequivocally that he did not rape the woman, he violates the settlement agreement by accusing the woman of lying, hence was forced word the statement in that manner.

Cosby's trial did not have "60" accusers, his trial only involved ONE accuser, which was Andrea Constand.

Ofcourse

Let me ask you something, how many documentaries have you seen come out about white sexual predators in hollywood? When are we going to get the "Surviving Harvey Weinstien" or the "leaving Graceland" Documentaries...

I didnt say trial but if you want to talk about the trial, the judge admitted the testimony of five other women into the same trial as evidence.

I mean, that's just Kobes take...but go ahead and argue that he was a complete dirtbag, motivated by purely mercantile reasons, Hugster. He said he understands based on months of reviewing discovery, and listening to her attorney and her own testimony. You say he lied about that so that he could get a contract signed.

No, I'm saying instead of defending himself to the end, he chose not to let $2.5 million dollars get in the way of $136 million, if that's being a "dirtbag" then so be it.
