RE: Abortion poll
He's referring to this funny little story making the rounds on the wingnut welfare circuit. Cases where a child in terrible condition is allowed to die after having been conceived. The only thing more ghoulish than the circumstance, is the way that alleged human persons like the op use this deeply personal family tragedy to argue that there are baby killing sluts out there, and you're all complicit in mur-diddely-urder.

I can think of at least one instance in which a post birth abortion would have been a qualitative improvement for the world..and it's a shame his mother didn't avail herself of the option.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

RE: Abortion poll
‘After birth abortion’ comes from a philosophical paper published several years ago in which the authors argue that there is no qualitative difference between a foetus still in utero and a newborn up to a few days old. As far as I can tell, it isn’t practiced anywhere in the world and, if it were, would qualify as infanticide.

It’s a buzz word scare tactic, nothing more.

RE: Abortion poll
Typical. When honesty doesn’t work employ fear and emotion.

OP is still a nitwit.

Buzz word scare tactics by the authors perhaps. Im just presenting the options to the question

Like u said, there is an argument for after birth abortion therefore i made it an option on the poll

After birth abortion is being performed in some states under the "Born alive" abortion bill

Anyway it's just a poll. Im not changing anyones mind. Their the options

It was an argument made years ago and has been pretty roundly refuted on both philosophical and medical grounds.

If you have information that this sort of infanticide is being performed in the US, I’d be happy to look at it. It’s my understanding that the ‘born alive’ laws protect newborns after a failed abortion.

RE: Abortion poll
Being male I don't have a horse in this race. I'll just support any woman jockey's decision, except to take away the right to choose when the race ends. @Agnostico That means all except "illegal", just in case you didn't get the analogy.

And Aggy, can you provide a list of states whacking babies after a failed abortion. Thanks.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
