[Quranic Reflection]: the true face of murder

RE: [Quranic Reflection]: the true face of murder
Glad to hear all it takes to fix a serial killer is a reminder that Allah thinks they shouldn't do it....
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Others need a reminder.

Do those others require a lie to keep them civil?
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

? I didn't say anything close to that, quoting myself in this topic:

Quote:WinterHold. Said:

But if you come attacking me with a bat, expect me to wield one back at you.
Keep it to insults; I'll keep it to insults too ! level it up; and I'll level it up.

eye for an eye. Fair and equal.

As of assuming that I will terrorize you, I say clear your chest a little, I just provided you with my personal constitution. and it says eye for an eye, not eye for a nuclear bomb

Then again I asserted:

Quote:[url=https://atheistforums.org/user-8494.html]WinterHold. Said:

In Islam it is a guide to self defense, another explicit verse stated that:

Quote: Wrote:Sura 16, The Quran:
https://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#...rans=en_sh

( 126 )   And if you punish [an enemy, O believers], punish with an equivalent of that with which you were harmed. But if you are patient - it is better for those who are patient.

Trading insults doesn't work at all times, sometimes you need to forgive and let it go.
But sometimes only the returning of the insult -or the attack- works, perhaps armed burglars are an example.

Serial killers who commit their murder, will get killed the same method they used to murder, or have their hand and feet cut, then crucified for their ugly deed,

Yeah, murdering in Quran is bad unless you are murdering Jews and Christians because of what they believe in

Quran 9 30
The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

May Allah destroy them; so they shall try to take it with him, not us.

I'm sure that you, personally, have some way to make it nicer in your mind. I doubt that you would if it was referring the the great satan of the west, whose destruction you wish for with some regularity, though.

Verses like the one you're retconning...ofc...can be, have been, and were intended to generate violence and othering. Pretext for holy war. In this, magic book causes those believers to feel much the same way you do about the great satan. Regardless of what you believe about a magic book, this is it's product. If your silly god wrote the book, and didn't intend it to do this...then your silly god is a fuckup.

There's your "true face of murder". A god so inept that it's own chosen words lead inexorably to human beings killing each other. I know, I know, you think that the sunni or the shia fucked it up, or broadly that it's just not gods fault and man fucked it up. Sure, why not. May as well blame the animals for the zookeepers shortcomings too.

It's amazing to me that, for a believer, the buck never stops with the most intelligent and powerful being in the universe, the being which set it all in motion and which allegedly claims that all that happens is and can only be it's will.

Ultimately, this is why religions like yours end up doing and getting away with so much shit, imo. They're a complete abrogation of responsibility, of any kind, for anything - combined with an insistence on justice deferred to some next life. The combined effect frees adherents from obligation and consequence in this life.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I wanted to start with this.
What responsibility? matter in fact, the world -under the UN- is the new world, your Islamic scapegoat fell with the Ottomans as its last representatives worldwide.

so, enough with your repetition of this argument.
It has nothing to do with the topic we're discussing,so are you trolling? no shame?
