You are right there. They were "drunks". My father died one in a car crash when I was 12. And me and my 2 brothers were taken by the Welfare to family members. But I had the Joyful experience to restore my Mother when I was approximately 30 years old. By the Word of God. She has been grateful to me up to her death. Because of God using me to Restore her. Sure there was a short period when the town of Robertson caught her with their evil attitude. And she suffered for some time because of it. Even went to the "loony bin" for a month. But God saved her from it. And she immediately decided to sell everything in Robertson and went to Bloemfontein where she had some family. And stayed there in an old age home. And we had a Happy Relationship in Godly Love up to her death. Enjoying how God used her there to restore many lives from sadness to Happiness.

I can see how that might help to produce the broken person we see here today - but it couldn't account for all of it. I'm sure that you had the largest hand in that.

Just remember, guys, daddy never came to his ballgames, because he was dead. That's probably why the father/son pathos didn't really work on him. At some point, you just have to feel bad for the poor fucker. My dad coached my ballgames.
