The cops should adopt alot of military practices and ideology if they're going to keep cosplaying as a force of occupation.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I've been driving around Portland the last few weeks and, other than an apparent surge in homeless camps, there isn't much action there. There are peaceful protesters and there was that short destructive patch where many storefronts were vandalized, but then things calmed down again. My friends that live in Portland are very confused about the federal presence and want them gone.

But they NEED the federals. After all, how else is Trump going to run as the law and order candidate (never mind that he’s flouting the law and contributing to the disorder)? America needs a leader who isn’t afraid to take on peaceful, unarmed protestors with federal goons armed with batons, rubber bullets, and pepper spray. And no-warrant arrests, no-charge detentions, and kidnapping by anonymous thugs with unmarked vans is in the Constitution.
Well, ok, it’s in North Korea’s Constitution, but still...

Lol, I think it is wargames preparing for his failure in November. I think he is going to try to stay in office and use those forces to maintain his reign. I don't think it will work any better than his attempt to get Mexico to pay for his wall.

Shit, if I lived in Mexico I'd be out there with adobe and straw making sun-baked bricks to keep those gringos locos away!

Pictured Below, all the conservatives upset about Americans rights being threatened by the Federal Government, up in arms and ready to move
out on this show of unconstitutional behavior:

This is why protests will go on, police needs to change but Trump will never realize that and instead he will flout conspiracies how this is all about him which conservatives will believe in, so it can only get worse

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
