I assume you mean your avatar should do the condemning?  People just got the word backwards.

Actually, depending on how you read the bible, it does make sense, but noit, I agree, if you read it literally.

And I've done many other things.

But never "sinned".

While I will not disagree, I do hope your analogical thinking is better on other issues where there is a secular equivalent like there is here.

aan offense against religious or moral law
ban action that is or is felt to be highly reprehensibleit's a sin to waste food
can often serious shortcoming

2atransgression of the law of God
ba vitiated state of human nature in which the self is estranged from God

Being a naturalist, I see little to no difference between us and what we call the lower animals.

We are supposed to be and think ourselves intelligent, but the evidence is mounting against that.

Didn't you read it literally when you concluded that God punished humanity for sins?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Indeed.

I had to take that position to argue. I cannot argue my points effectively if I do not apply it to the othe's belief.

Can I discuss atheist points from a believer's POV?

No. I can only play with your ball if you let me into your ball park.
