I have ate kangaroo, and croc, while in Australia.
Never had an ostrich egg. But I cant imagine it being much different than a chicken egg. Although it it cannot be a meal for one person.
What did you think of crocodile? I found it similar to very lean pork.

I was slightly disappointed. It didn't taste bad. But it wasn't like a solid beef burger. It was more like Chinese egg fu young texture. It was croc version of a funnel cake. It tasted good. But trust me Australians think of "chicken wings" as being a full wing. I had that too. Americans we have tiny sub sections of the legs and wing which are not the full version.
My first day at a hotel on my second trip, I stayed at a hotel so that Debra didn't have to make an extra trip to pick up my friend who landed the next day. I walked down the street to their version of a tiny "fast food" deli, or whatever you want to call it. I asked for a "Hamburger" and I literally got a "ham" burger, and I can describe it, because it was not grounded. It was literally a flat slice of ham on a bun.
Oh but that is the fucked up thing about language. My first trip, I didn't realize that their power outlets, plugs, sockets, where you plug your TV or lamps in are called something different. I did know our power outlets we call plugs were not the same shape. When she picked me up she kept on saying, "Yea, we'll find you a power point converter." And all I could think was, " Why the fuck do I need software conversion?"
"Power point" means the same thing as "wall plug" or "wall socket".
But eggs, yea, I'd be interested in eating Ostrich eggs.

Yeah, I was really just interested in what you thought about crocodile meat, didn’t really need an entire rundown on your culture shock.

Again, it is hard to say. I was expecting ground meat, and compact meat like a burger in America. It tasted good, but when one says "burger" it does not mean the same there. What I got was flat and stringy, like egg fu young. AGAIN it tasted good, but I wouldn't call it a burger.

I'm still waiting for a yes or no answer to a question I asked on another thread.
Brian either skips questions completely or he gives you a full lead in to the answer. I liken it to looking for a recipe online only to have a multi-paragraph memoir of granny's techniques to scroll through till you can find the ingredients list and instructions. Just tell me if I need powdered platypus bill or if I most likely have the ingredients on hand.

I had it prepared differently - cut into nugget-sized chunks and pan fried.

I gave you an answer. I was disappointed in the prep, not the taste. I liked the taste, but would have liked it more if the croc had been ground like a McDonald's burger.
