Hey Portland - you might get what you deserve.
RE: Hey Portland - you might get what you deserve.
You’re the target demo, not special or rare. White supremacist propaganda has been tooled to appeal to you, and by your every rendition of any event or circumstance, it’s worked extremely well.

I don’t vote anymore, and I wasn’t a lib or left winger when I did.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Quote:How many other alt-righters out there do you think voted for Justin Trudeau, the Liberal Prime Minister of Rainbow Unicorn Land? When is the last time you voted for someone that liberal or left wing? How many other alt-righters waste their time watching Vaush or Kyle Kulinski or Mike Figueredo? If I'm an alt-righter, I must be a very special and rare breed of alt-right.

1. Voting for Justin Trudeau doesn't make you not an Alt Righter as people can vote for someone for various reasons. I know plenty of Liberals who voted for Steven Harper because he was for the industry they worked in.

2. Watching Vaush doesn't make you not an Alt Righter as people can like a Youtuber, not of their political affiliation.

This is as silly as a racist claiming they aren't a racist because they liked Prince's music.

Thank you! Exactly. I'm so glad you wrote this. This is what I've been saying all along. I can watch Steven Crowder because I find him entertaining or I can watch Vaush and find him entertaining while not agreeing with either of them when it comes to much of their politics.

I think Crowder makes good arguments when it comes to guns and free speech, and he does a good job as a comedian mocking SJWs, which is always good for a laugh, but I disagree with him on Christianity, abortion, immigration, homosexuality, trans identities, white privilege, systemic racism, social safety nets and things like Yang's freedom dividend, free college, the government helping to pay off student loans, a national healthcare system, and on and on. If I can hold all of those positions and still be considered alt-right, then I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on that matter because we probably have very different definitions of what alt-right is anyways, and that's fine. You can call me whatever you'd like to call me. I don't really identify with any of the political parties in Canada right now to be honest.

1. No you watch Crowder because he's bigot masturbation material. You watch Vaush because no one can truly hate Vaush. Clinging to a few progressive (which many Alt-Righters can and Do) means nothing.

2. Crowder has never made a single good point ever and calling him entertaining or funny rather than vomit-inducing just show a whole other level of awfulness

3.No I have the actual definition of Alt-Right you have a bunch of excuses to try and avoid the stigma associated with that title while cheerleading it's grievance culture and culture war nonsense as well as its advocates.

So nice job pretending we agreed on something when we  most definitely did not.

Maybe it even makes them alt-righters. Who knows. I've been called an alt-righter because I don't want to defund the police.

This is not a point I dispute. Unfortunately, the thing is, sometimes people don't know what's actually best for them. Case in point: you ever read a book called What's the Matter With Kansas by Thomas Frank? It's about how an entire state can be convinced to vote for politicians whose policies actively opposed their best interests, and how they can become entrenched into this worldview even as it becomes obvious that it's actively hurting them. Of course, in the case of black people supporting the police, the reason is simpler than anything Frank talked about: they simply don't know of the alternatives. Hell, it even took me a while to figure out why, exactly, defunding the police is a good idea (namely, that they're basically a tool that's being used for far more jobs than it was designed to be used for, and not in a good, life-hacky sort of way.)

I agree that social services and mental health and things like that need more funding. You don't necessarily need to take money away from the police to achieve that though. Just give those things more funding.

In some mental health situations, you really do need the police though. I don't think it's really a good idea to put a mental health professional in harms way when someone is having an episode and carrying around a knife in a threatening manner, for example.

No diverting funds from the police are an economical way to fund them. Police budgets are bloated and could go to more effective measures to lower crime.

Almost never are police needed in such situations. In fact they often make things way worst by escalating the situation when it could have been deescalated.

Just give those things more funding, he says. Sure, sure...but you are aware that the same fetishists whose white grievances you peddle -also- believe that government should be made so small it could be drowned in a tub, right?

Particularly when it comes to social services or, really, anything seen to be used by Those People. You are a useful idiot from Not Heristan, convinced by the propaganda of white supremacy and actively advocating for the maintenance of that status quo. That is what anti-anti-racism is.

Wouldn’t it be terrible if x were true? Well, then that’s what’s true- until another cultist comes along to out-terrible the last with a novel configuration of those same elements.

It’s a testament to the power and necessity of social shaming.

It’s not illegal to be a white supremacist, but even white supremacists are ashamed to give voice to what they know themselves to be.

Puts their constant complaints about how society is telling them to be ashamed of their whiteness in context.

I’m not hearing it, nobody says as much to me... but they are. Maybe it’s not their whiteness that the white grievance complex refers to?
