The fact it was defined in a way in all dictionaries before the 1950s doesn't mean shit.

You should have started with that: "I reject atheism... as defined in pre-1950s dictionaries."

Would have cleared up a lot of confusion.

Doesn't this all seem silly to you? You know that you're a ham sandwich, but you also know that you don't reject gods. Not that finding someone who does is something you'd like to discuss, you know, with some questions for the posters here....or anything.....

There is a real discussion to be had. Do you want to have that discussion or not? A real criticism can be leveled at the position: "I deny the existence of god(s)." Do you want to make that criticism or not?
