I could take this to the quotes out of context thread, but I respect your acumen in this political shit too much to do so. Let's see who misconstrues your post, just for grins.

Nope the Taliban are the cause of this crisis and we love the Afgan people more than the Taliban do at least we don't stone them to death in soccer fields  Dodgy

If Biden's party stopped invasions and murdering of innocents in imperialistic wars; this shameful day could've been avoided for the U.S.
Eat the rich, I'm right there with you.  IIRC a guy just fled afghanistan with more money than he could stuff his vehicles with.  That seems bad.

Quote:Honestly, human beings have a trait of showing "ego" and believing they are super; and that what scares me from any victory by the weak.
I don't believe in "westernizing"; but I believe every human is free to live like they want with the statement of the Quran itself:
You know I don't care what some shaman said a warlord said a ghost told him.

Still, there's wisdom here in worrying about ego.  It was hubris for us to assume that we could nation build with no plan while diverting resources to another war, and, all of that through a recession - no less.  Yet we still made tremendous gains for the afghan people.  Even a little elbow grease in a shithole goes a long way, it would seem.

Imagine what could have been accomplished had the war not been mismanaged on our side - and had you and your lot not spread ridiculous bullshit about inhuman western monsters coming to steal their patch of nothereistani dirt?

Perhaps, then, the afghan people would be looking at a future where they were free to live like they want - but that's not the future the taliban intends to bring.

Quote:Western politics hurt millions of people; you are not hurt because you're in the west but I am bleeding.
Western economics cause hunger and misery to the weak (Africa; anyone?).
Western imperialism caused Vietnam, then Iraq, and now Afghanistan.

I smell a big, nasty immortality.
Has it ever occurred to you to ask?  The west paid dearly, as you gleefully note.  An entire generation of people consigned to poverty and shitty roads so that we could effect a marginal improvement elsewhere - all lost now, apparently..to the cheering of an islamist mob.  Some of us were killed, and a great many more wounded.  There's no shortage of blood and being from the west didn;t protect anyone.  Now, remember, we never really -had- to be there.  We threw all those american lives on the altar of helping people less fortunate than ourselves.  Now, a significant portion of both sides of the aisle here in the us tend towards a more isolationist pov.  They feel that helping others hasn;t been worth it, and we should do less of it.

Good luck to the rest of you, forget our number, I guess.  What could possibly go wrong?

Yeah, and all of that is a measure of how much better we could have achieved those gains, which is exactly what I asked you about but you decided not to answer..but even still..have you ever stopped to wonder how many of us westerners died to secure the thing we seek to give to others?  The us wasn't built by any bloodless progress, nor was the greater western world.  It stands atop a mound of skulls, people who did and didn't know better.  Many of our own were ground to dust before we figured out how and why we were fucking up - which is a lesson that islamists have yet to learn - but I do think that you eventually will.  It's either that, or remain a death cult with no future.

You're talking to a man who dug up bodies in mass graves for repatriation and burial and was shot at by the locals for the backbreaking trouble of the effort.  It's going to be impossible to concern troll me. You can believe in the great satan all you like, that's what your shameless witchdoctor told you because that guy respects you even less than I do. Ill just point out that we improved the lives of the afghan people more than we improved our own, at great cost to ourselves, and for no tangible benefit in exchange. I guess we just thought it would be nice if other people had nice things.

You, and your stupid fucking imam, disagree. Rah...rah..rah, go taliban.

Progress is never bloodless especially against forces that hamper it where ever they can. Your cult will never bring progress to anyone. Your kind is content with eternal stagnation which is why you will never achieve anything other than endless petty tribal blood feuds.

Indeed we did more to improve the lives of the Afghans in 2 decades. Then Winters death cult did for them in 2 centuries.

That's the shameful bit. That we could produce those gains and then just piss them away, handing it back to people who demonstrably will not respect or continue them. US withdrawal in afghanistan isn't a loss for the us or a win for the afghan people. People who think as much have it entirely backward.

Its a loss for afghan people, and a win for amerika.

You had people like me warning you for almost a decade now that this is barbarism, that this is the act of demons and ghouls, quoted the Quran for you so you may reconsider, talked to your consciousness may it cry for the poor souls, but you didn't hear and refused!

So let me rejoice and mock; enjoy the moment and pray, saying: Thanks for Allah, gave victory to his slaves, gave victory to his soldiers, and defeated the gangs alone.  Bow Down

Yeah. Now they can go on a killing spree, oppress women, butcher unbelievers and so on.

Is that hyperbole? Nope. That is their stated objective.

Has anyone paused to notice that an unmitigated troll is controlling the tenor of this thread?

In my observation, many of the threads this person participates in go far sideways and turn mainly into a free for all of replies to rather adroit provocation.

I could be wrong but would be very surprised if this weren't the outcome of attention they're seeking, I think.
