How atheists can enjoy religion

There are several anime shows with religious themes, such as Death Note (highlights the struggle between God and Lucifer, in a symbolic way), Neon Genesis Evangelion (this one has a serious tone, lots of Christian symbolism), and The Devil Is A Part Timer (cutesy stuff). If you haven't watched any of these shows, I would start with Death Note, it's a suspenseful psychological thriller with plenty of twists and turns. Plus, it has a cute blond girl character, who is my favorite character on the show. I will leave you with this picture, of Jesus Christ, for your consideration.

Religion is not supposed to be "fun"; it is supposed to be a constitution of one's life; and life has the painful parts and enjoyable parts.

Turning it into a cartoon's script to watch while  Popcorn is....one disgusting idea.

No, going through life without ever knowing the glories of bacon is a disgusting idea.

Fills earth with pigs, tell people not to eat pigs.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Granted, the earth is filled with lots of creatures we don't eat.

Yeah, about that - does tell us we can't eat pigs on pig planet...but doesn't provide a list of toxic or poisonous plants and animals? Had to figure that out by trial and error.

What good is a religion that doesn't try to make life less painful?

What good is a religion that takes itself so seriously that there's no fun allowed?
