I highly doubt that it would ever be used, though. If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

I suppose it's made by a comic who confused malice with practical joke. I like the inventor. That's why I went and looked it up to see if the patent was real. This looks like a Rube Goldberg, to me.

I know I am ancient but "women these days" are planning their epidurals at the same time and with the same enthusiasm as they are planning gender reveal events. I had an epidural during my first labor...it didn't work and instead screwed up my back for years. I nearly had baby #2 in the car and I refused an epidural with baby #3. And we had this weird thing about picking out a boy's name and a girl's name - because we didn't freakin' know ahead of time. The gender reveal happened in the delivery room with no explosions, balloons, or confetti.

But ... but ... but you're saying a carrousel delivery wouldn't be fun for the mother-to-be??? I think the father would be entertained by the show!
An easy alternative would involve a large bridge and some big bungee cords......

The vomit comet would not be welcome...there's enough going on without that too. Good lord.
