To be fair, she is planning on keeping them there for more than 10 seconds.

It's becoming a trend

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

That isn't how anatomy works. anything over the third one would not be able to stand with considerable redesign.

I've oft thought about such fantasies..... Usually for some science-fiction or fantasy plot/game.

My take for stronger bone to strengthen ratios (Other than the very clever weight savings of avians and some extinct saurouids) would be 'Buckminster foulerine' type scaffolding or lacing through the bones.

Linking carbon chains together is already something nature can do.

So.... lace graphite together to create 'Diamond bones'.

Huge improvement over Woverine's admantium.

I am much happier now than when they installed the 3 plates and 29 screws in me....

Looking at the x-ray- it appears to be a poor junior high school carpentry project done by a failing student.....
