Random Humorous Things - A Light-Hearted Thread
RE: Random Humorous Things - A Light-Hearted Thread
For those feeling worthless about themselves, don't. You have value

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

mmm...!

It took me quite a while to figure out what this sign was intending to say. The misreading is the first thing that I got.

Call me a lunatic with cruel yet handsome features if you must, but I'm springing for the extra 3.05.

This makes me nervous as I had 'chicken' fried rice last night...I hope it was chicken. Huh

I follow a local page for our town on FB...of course, the ice and snow and cold is the main topic of discussion right now.

Someone asked if there was anything available at Kroger (grocery store) after the big rush Wednesday night.

First reply was: 2 Snickers and a Mountain Dew.

Reply to that was: Dibs on the Mountain Dew.

Hehe

What the hell is a "Kidney Pancreas"?  Does the Pancreas only come as a package deal with the Kidney?  Do I have to buy the undercoating and maintenance package with that?

Since when are body parts proper names?  Enquiring® minds want to know!

I'd want to know who was snickering at the lack of groceries.  Fucking anarchist!

Probably similar to the fake crab meat you often get at sushi bars.  It's usually ground up pollack that's been mixed with sweeteners, extruded, and colored with pink dye.  They will often list "real crab meat" in their more expensive rolls.
Disappointing theists since 1968!
