Gentlemen, Behold! The weirdest adaptation of Les Miserables ever made.





Yes, it's a fighting game. Yes, it's named "Arm Joe," because that vaguely sounds like Aa Mujou, which is Japanese for "How heartless" and apparently is the official Japanese title of the original novel. Yes, Cosette can use Valjean as a weapon. And, yes, Valjean has an evil robot counterpart.

Yup.  That's one of those games I never understood.  I took a little solace in the fact that my kids preferred EverQuest, which at least entailed strategy and teamwork.

It was violent, too, but not as bad.  I played EQ for a while, just to keep tabs on what they were doing.  Meh.  Waste of time.
