teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Footage from hell.

I bet if the person know how many mice are likely in the kitchen after lockup, they would have a heart attack.
That baby possum is super cute.

Instead of saying ”I do", they consummated their vows with "I want a pizza that."

Yes, there are people who actually believe this.
Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.
I was born with the gift of laughter and a sense the world is mad.
I was catching up on the podcast 'Criminal' the other night and there was a story about a man from Australia who traveled to England and ran out of money. He wanted to get home so he and a friend shipped him back to Oz in a box. Took a while with various stops in transit along the way but he made it mostly in one piece.
Phoebe...the host of the podcast, asked him what he did after returning home for a living. He said, with a chuckle, well I smuggled drugs. He figured if he could work out shipping himself halfway across the globe, he could figure out how to ship drugs. He did admit to a few stints in lockup. I guess it's always best to go with what you know. |
