You're probably not going to do anything like that by coming up with excuses for a pedo, imo. Or by insisting that a warlord was an example of a man improved by a god. Just doesn't play well. The child bride and the battles spoke to his wealth and virility and authority then - but those things aren't seen to be acceptable by the people you're speaking to - now. That's the point, Mohammed was immoral by today's standards because he married a 6-year-old girl, and as you admit that it is outdated "morality" so Mohammed's teachings have no place in today's world, and mere mortal godless people have come up with much better morality without the use of Quran where fewer people suffer.
