Learn the true mercy
RE: Learn the true mercy
I suppose it depends. Some people are acquainted with religions (or subsects of a religion) that make that bit fairly simple and apparent. To the point that children can and do understand it - and both agree and disagree with it.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Two people heard me state in 1964 words to the effect of "You know, stories of hell would be a good way for governments to scare people into behaving." One of the witnesses was the older brother of the boy next door, and he was amazed that I could make an observation like this at my age.

By this time I had already been reading for five years (started at age 2 1/2), had read the Bible, and knew all the major story arcs.

TL;DR version: Ahriman, you're a jerk.

Let’s all say it together: ‘Projection’.

The universe was created not out of nothing and not random
The suspicions of atheists are nothing but statements without evidence, and claims without evidence.

The words of an atheist are many inaccuracies: his saying: “The universe arose out of nothing, without the need for a Creator” contradicts the axiom that any action must have an agent,

The universe originated from nothing without the need for a creator, which requires that nothing becomes something, and this contradicts the axiom that nothing can produce anything, and nothing can come from nothingness,

And the atheist considered vacuum as nothing, and mixed between nothingness and quantum vacuum, and quantum vacuum - according to quantum mechanics - is considered something that exists filled with virtual particles of matter and antimatter, and ripples occur in it, and from these ripples pairs of particles and antiparticles can be created, and this cannot be separated. The quantum void of the universe. As for nothing or nothingness, it is the opposite of existence or non-existence, or non-existence in all its forms and forms. That is: there is absolutely nothing; There is neither matter nor energy, nor time nor place,

According to Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle; It is impossible for a vacuum to be devoid of energy, and energy cannot reach zero,

Whoever believes that the laws of quantum mechanics can cause some things is like the one who believes that arithmetic laws can create money, and who believes that the laws by which the car operates can create the car, or the car runs without the need for someone to drive it! This is a very ridiculous statement and fall.

And this atheist forgot that time and space existed after the creation of the universe, and before the creation of the universe, neither space nor time nor quantum space did not exist, and after the creation of the universe time, space and quantum void existed, and accordingly; So, the claim that the universe arose from quantum fluctuations in a quantum vacuum is a false claim that shows its invalidity.

The issue is not only
the origin of the universe;
but
After the creation of the universe,
the universe needs to be preserved and nurtured

Who made the universe continue to exist?
Who made the universe fit for human life and other living beings?

Who made living things grow and multiply?

Who put the ability to grow and reproduce?

And who put instinct in the male for the female, and the instinct in the female for the male?

Who created for the male a female and for the female a male? Who has given every living creature what is right for it in its life?

And who taught a living being how to benefit from the thing that fixes it in its life, especially the first living beings?!

- so why not accept the existence of a 'supernatural Power'

Atheism is not the belief that the universe was created out of nothing or at random.

(my cousin steve does all of that btw, if you were wondering who to write your thank you letter to)

Sounds like you didn't know what the genetic fallacy means in 1964.

The long history of some religions being an instrument of social control/manipulation has no bearing on their truth.

Well, few seven-year-olds have the opportunity to study logical fallacies, y'know.

On a balance of probability, though, given the total lack of credible evidence for the existence of gods and the substantial history of exploitation by religious leaders and their secular allies, it's a moot point. Religion does serve as an instrument of social control, and a lot of power-hungry mortals have reaped the benefits of this control, and it does not appear that any genuine gods did anything to prevent this exploitation.
