Egg yolks are actually quite nutritious. As long as you aren’t eating like, six whole eggs and day you’re fine.

You seem to be missing the entire distinction between whole foods and individual nutrients. As I said, that’s why we have saturated fat guidelines. Eggs are considered low in fat; 4.6g per egg; and only 1.6g of that is saturated fat. Eggs are a nutrition powerhouse. The yolk is packed with vitamins and minerals. They’re a good source of complete protein, affordable, and super versatile. I don’t know what you do for a living, but please stick to that, and stay away from nutrition. You have zero clinical experience, and therefore you have no business at all telling people what to eat or not eat for specific medical conditions. In fact, it’s illegal in many states.

Well, I am a computer science student. What I do know is that there are quite a lot of studies associating egg consumption with heart disease, and that they usually blame the saturated fat in them for that.

Another food my cardiologist hasn't banned me from.

I'll ask when I see him if a few weeks just how bad eggs with coconut are and if that would be instant death.

Explain this FA - I have an aunt and uncle who are twins. Blood tests never register any cholesterol in their systems.

Associations/correlations do not = causation.

And what studies? What were the study designs used? What methodologies were used? What type of statistical analysis was used? What were the sample sizes (n) for the studies? Were they observational only? Retrospective? Clinical trials? Did they control for confounding variables and non-modifiable risk factors like age, gender, and family history? Have you evaluated available metal-analyses on the subject? What is the scientific consensus on this subject? What are the major health organizations like the AHA and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ official positions on this subject based on the available data? Have you done any of this work?

Quite. The problem is eating 3-4 in a sitting. I pretty much never eat more than one egg at a time, but I eat eggs 5-6 days a week.
