Unfortunately when things like this are said, the worshipers get BS images in their head of dictatorships and oppression. They do not understand they are literally trying to give rights to an object, although they would claim they are not doing that. You can't point out to them our western pluralistic, and free allies don't have a 2nd amendment, still allow for firearm ownership, but don't hand them out blindly and sit on "no record".
This is an area where I think that conservatives are, once again, contradicting themselves. The Founding Fathers of the United States, in my opinion, wanted the 2nd Ammendment to apply only in the realm of a citizen soldier.

It says a lot about our Moderators and their integrity and tolerance that they have not (yet) banned you.

Again - your opinion is minority.
The SCOTUS ruled in 2008 (Heller) that the right is an INDIVIDUAL right - not as the anti- gun people claim - a "collective right" ( something they had to invent).
With the present makeup of the court that would only change if half of the court retired or died before the end of the Biden administration.

Why would I want the ability to easily kill someone?
as I said in a different thread, here in the UK it is difficult (not impossible) to get hold of a firearm, compare the number of gun deaths per head of population between the UK and USA, see which system is safer

Dumb people - more so.
Well, would you support intelligence tests as a requirement for gun ownership?

No.
I would support a " good judgement" test - if such a test could foresee all possible future scenarios.
Sadly - nobody has a working crystal ball.
...
I do support PAST behavior as a test of gun ownership.
Once you prove you are capable of being an idiot - you should be banned for life from guns...

Since you acknowledge that no testing will be able to identify all dumbasses, what objection -- if any -- do you have for mandating smart guns going forward?
