As far as the topic at hand, like I've posted before, I think President Trump himself contemplating a state of emergency over the election results is a holy shit moment and is something that scares me far more than one police officer at the capital being killed, which I'm sure was a nightmare for his family, but in the bigger context, it's being blown up 1000 fold for political reasons, and I'm sure with the midterms coming up, people have realer, more close to home issues to worry about in their daily lives.

I'm aware there were pipe bombs planted. That's not good. As far as the people invading the capitol, you can't laugh at how much of a joke Q Anon Shaman is, and then at the same time act like he and the others were an actual threat to anything in the big scheme of things. So yeah, the threat level to democracy was zero. Deal with it. None of us here like these politicians in the capitol, and we probably all agree that they're a bunch of cunts, or at least 99 percent of them are, so yeah, they're not exactly the most sympathetic bunch, and I'm not going to cry tears for them. Look at their approval rating as a group. I disavow what these cook rioters did, but it's clown world if we're going to make a big deal about this every year on the anniversary like it's 9/11 or Pearl Harbour. No. Just no. Nope, what's going to lead to much increased online censorship (and I'm aware that's not the same thing as free speech so cool it with your peaches thing you're always bringing up) and the CIA and NSA gaining even more power with new legislation, is pretending that these people were a real threat to the Republic. I think those politicians are all thrilled that the capitol was invaded. They couldn't have asked for a bigger present, and if they could run it all back, I don't think they'd want to change a thing. Q Anon Shaman is no threat to me or my speech.
