You cannot effectively lock down a 1,954 mile border. Even if you could, they can simply (and already do) fly to Canada and walk across the unsecured Canadian border. You know, that 5,525 mile imaginary line on the map up north. That's nearly 7,500 miles of border to patrol and secure, and that doesn't even take into account the 95,471 miles of US coastline.

Since Mexicans seem to pose the biggest problem for Lek, I want to restate that there are also people crossing the southern border from other countries in Central America.

He also, like so many of his ilk, really understands nothing about illegal immigration. The vast majority of illegal immigrants didn't have to run, jump, or swim to get here. They came by plane on a perfectly legit visa and simply never left. How in the ever-loving fuck is locking down a border going to do anything about that?
