Than my answer to that nonsense:
 
1) There are the sayings of the prophet on this (and that is our military history as well which is said to be older than Islam): War is fought man to man soldier to soldier. Although female soldiers existed in the ranks of Turkic warriors in the past (a little like the shield-maidens among Vikings), you cannot attack unarmed people and call it “War”. No, that’s bitter cruelty / barbary or murder. In any military ethic that I know of. Even in Asymmetric Guerrilla warfare and stuff like that.
 
2) You have to be fighting for truth. And they cannot be fighting for truth since almost their entire understanding of Islam is either incorrect or completely distorted. (meaning a 100% travesty of the original religious message).
 
3) He does look like Belisarius therefore he has to be his reincarnation

Explainer: Our “President” and his circle have enormous problems with definitions. They may use very strong words against their political opponents such as “terrorists” or “fools”. Those who oppose their views in an open manner can be called stuff like “bitches” or “Haggards” etc. Their knowledge of the Turkish language is also very limited (most of them are highly undereducated) so they can issue statements like “The purification of the Turkish language by the founders of the Republic* has destroyed our language tools” (no one was able to decipher the meaning of that statement until today).
 
So his definition of Mujahedeen is probably something close to that. But still, that makes too many Muslims on a single planet don’t you agree?

* In the 1930’s, our founders have created what we call the Turkish Language Institute. Their works included the translation of many literary works into Turkish + the elimination of unnecessary Persian + Arabic words from our language. Of course Political Islamists hated them for this mainly because they don’t like anything that’s new at all in general

That’s what I’m talking about in many other threads too. This country (like Iran 40 years ago) is being pulled into the black hole of the fight between Zionism and Political Islam. That means all our resources, all that we are will be gone.
 
So that’s not entirely funny either.
 
Also: Most Turks believe they have nothing to do with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.  10 % believe we must support Arabs. 5-6 % believe we must support Israel.

Political Islamists like to be seen doing things. The ruling AK Party has very important economic ties and relations with Israel. So while making statements such as these:

It’s almost impossible for them to do something like stopping all economic relations with Israel. So more talk, and shows of force, and posing as “Defender of Muslims” is to be expected.

Maybe our main problem is that we have too many defenders. MBS is our defender, the IRI is our defender, Saddam used to be the defender of our values, In Afghanistan we have Santa’s all over the place who are also defending our values, Khadafi was our defender, the Tunisian Prime Minister is the defender of its people against the invasion of sub-Saharan African migrants, The Azerbaijani Prime Minister, Putin etc. are also our defenders. So there is like defenders everywhere, the latest is Emperor Belisarius, Maybe he’ll be luckier than the other defenders of Islam.
