Atheists don't accept the claim that gods exist...i.e. we *all* lack belief in deities.

Very few make the assertion that gods don't exist.

Those are very different positions that must be understood, before discussing the merits of atheism.
Disappointing theists since 1968!

From my pov, it's the weirdest thing. OFC "God" can be disproven. It's an evidentiary claim that either succeeds or fails......?

What it boils down to, I think, is that many peoples gods have been disproven, but they simply cant accept it, so they bullshit themselves and anyone who might be listening.
