I don't know about light sensitivity, though I wouldn't be surprised, but it's mainly chronic fatigue and a heart rate that goes through the roof at the slightest exertion. I think I'll leave it there though if that's OK... I don't think she minds me talking about it but it still feels a bit uncomfortable.

Oh good god, light sensitivity! As a ginger, I know I'm ready to chop the hands off a motherfucker if he makes me stand out in the sun. This entire conversation is ridiculous, and winter is a piece of shit. An islamist feels vulnerable, and so he retreats into what he believes his audience will let him bullshit them about.

Actually even when I had no symptoms I felt vulnerable: the human body is really fragile compared to stronger elements like steel and iron.
A careful look at what the cold and the sun would do to your body is enough
Consuming alcohol and drugs to forget this fact is not an option also: it's only an illusion you yourself create to escape from looking the fact in the eyes.
My faith help me to digest the fact better,

You're right, there's no other way to teach people. That's why we send our kids to public torture centers and drop them into pandemic zones. It's the wise and practical solution.
