You really need it spelt out for you that Hollywood - a Californian institution that brings billions of dollars into the state - is tied to the Californian government and might have incentive to promote the policies and agendas of that government?
Relax with the Trump Derangement Syndrome; Wasn't talking about Donald Trump but rather broader immigration policies that foreign countries have used to exploit our legal system, and while Donald Trump has become the face of it because it's easier to build a boogieman... immigration has been a hot-button topic *long* before he was on the scene and I think we both damn well know that.
