Do they need a pocketful of cash to greet Jesus? can you imagine how foolish they felt when their hero never showed? Wonder what Harold's excuse will be?

OH NOES!!! LOL reminds me of the Jehovahs Witnesses when they predicted the end on various dates between 1914 and 1975. What a sad way to live.

Remember when the world was suppose end on 1/1/2000 but nothing happened? Some of the nutters that believed in y2k said the reason why the world didn't end because they got the date wrong. The samething can be said for all the rapture movements. When the rapture doesn't happened they pull a new date out of their ass and a bible verse to match when world doesn't end they do the something over and over. http://www.bible.ca/pre-date-setters.htm
I do not think it is necessary to believe that the same God who has given us our senses, reason, and intelligence wished us to abandon their use, giving us by some other means the information that we could gain through them

You see those pictures of the RV? How can anyone be happy that the end of the world is going to happen at all, let alone this Saturday? These people are just plain nuts.
And how quickly are they going to have to get those RV's repainted on May 22nd?
And does this look like a cult or what?
Anyone want to take bets on whether a large batch of special Kool-aid will be made up this Saturday?

Why does this sound foreboding to me?

Possibly, but when that exact date comes & goes with nothing happening, do you think these recent converts are going to keep taking you seriously?
Well, if you've not succeeded indoctrinating them enough until then, they would flee. Otherwise, you'll have to find some excuse for the fact that nothing happened (which, oddly, seems to work - there are preachers and stuff setting an end of the world, and after that date, people still believe those preachers).

Wut? How do you figure that? It's easy: there are thousands (or more, in a country I mean) of pastors and priests and bishops and archbishops, and I don't know the protestant hierarchy, which should have followed. Anyway, all they do is preach and receive money. Question: from where do they receive money? They don't have separate job, to earn their money from there. Answer: The priests have been paid by the state since antiquity, and they are still paid now (along with any religious leader of any christian denomination, islamic denomination, jewish denomination, etc. that is accepted as "official religion", i.e. religion recognized by the state). As you have teachers being paid by the state to is teach, the same way you have preachers being paid by the state to preach. And it is very probable that the maintenance of the religious buildings (i.e. churches, mosques, etc.) to be paid by the state as well.

They are happy because they think they will meet Christ in te rapture while the rest of us idiots are on the Earth gnashing our teeth in anger for not knowing Christ would keep his promise. You have to admit Christians are really entertaining. Look at that picture from the looks of them not one graduated High school.

It would be entertaining if they were of a different species. But they aren't, and do vote.
