I was going to say something like that, despite me not even being there to know the guy. But what you said did make sense. If he is still alive, which I bet he is, I am sure he has just left, if anything, like you said.

FWIW, I know his real name and location, and he isn't in the obituaries of his home town. Maybe he just got tired of being hammered for having a difference of opinion.  Argue
