If the gifts of the spirit can actually happen today as Jesus spoke 2000 years ago, wouldn't that be proof that the guy really existed. Somebody taught about those gifts, visions, prophecies, healings, miracles,etc. I've experienced the very things that Jesus spoke about. Those things never happened until I accepted God personally into my life. The evidence is personal, but can be public. Here is another miracle, some might say coincidence, that happened a few weeks ago. I was visiting my friend who had been asking me about evidences for God. I shared my experiences with him for a little while, then the subject changed. He said that a friend of his had a scale model of a 1940's freight engine and coal tender(about 8' long and weighing about 75#s). This owner wanted to give this model to my friend but it would have to be transported very gently by trailer. My friends wife suggested that it would be good if we had a bunch of pillows to cushion the ride back to their house. On my way home late that night, I noticed what looked like bags of rice thrown all over the road. I stopped to move the obstacles from the roadway. They weren't large rice bags at all but were pillows instead,about seven in all. I called my friend back on the phone. He and his wife were so shocked to hear about this. We used those pillows to support the delicate parts on the sides of this model train. Those pillows had not been in the best of shape. All of them had stains and tears from the road spill, so we didn't worry about owners needing for them to be retrieved. Yet, they served a great purpose to move a train and to witness about a very real incident that strengthened their faith and mine.

1. Christians who see Jesus in stains think he looks like the white, European Jesus typically portrayed in paintings made by white Europeans.
2. Muslims, Hindus, and Bhuddists never find stains with Jesus' or Mary's image in them.
3. It's always Catholics who see Mary appear in places, but never Protestants.
4. The image of Jesus or Mary appearing in a stain or on a taco is supposed to be some great, miraculous, divine message, but what it's supposed to mean nobody has any idea.

Maybe you could consider it stupid to reason that some fallen pillows onto a roadway could mean anything spiritual, but consider this. How often do you encounter any kind of road obstacle at all, much less the very thing which you need for some useful purpose. The odds start to stack up against these kinds of things happening at all.
I was witnessing about these kinds of things happening to an employee of mine whom I was giving a ride home. I noticed a mirror laying on the side of the road. It looked like it might be a match for the one that had fallen off the side of my truck. It was a specialty aftermarket mirror that was missing, and this one was a perfect match.
God uses the common everyday occurences, many times when someone is asking about how God answers some prayers.
Here is a big one answered for me. I had read about high fuel mileage carburetors that could be installed on a vehicle to increase their efficiency. They used to be advertised as vapor carburetors with mileage claims of up to a hundred mpg. I had not seen these for years,so I prayed for info about this. Weeks had passed without answer so I stopped asking. One night I was awakened from my sleep by a vision that went like this: I saw the air cleaner housing lifting off the top of my old car. I watched as the fuel line to the carburetor was removed and the fuel drained out. The fuel line was capped and the bottom of the air cleaner housing was reinstalled. An old terry cloth towel was wrapped around the carburetor hole where the air filter had resided before. I watched as a small amount of gas was poured all over the towel. I was told to start the engine. The vision stopped here. At daybreak, I did all of the things that I had seen in the vision. The car started right up, no smoke, no gas odor, the car ran perfectly in every way. The carburetor was empty, and was not contributing in any way to the running of the engine. This engine was running on just the fumes being released from the towel. The engine actually ran smoother with the rag than as it was originally designed.
OK sceptics, disprove this one. I did research at the patent office and did not find any type of device that operated this simply. Of course, this was back in 1995. There might be new updated info on something like this now, I don't know. I further experimented with a coffee can with a whole in it. I sealed the hole to the carburetor neck and the can and lined the bottom with t shirt cloth. I then filled the can with cat litter and poured in some gas. The car ran equally well this way too.
This sounds absurd that something this simple could run a car, but it does! Try it you'll like it. Had no luck with the patent process. Our wonderful govt. has made it illegal to modify any car with smog equipment. Good luck getting that invention off the ground.

And did you take the car for a drive?

Yes, the engine will run, in fact the earliest carburettors used were pretty much what you described.

But a engine running too lean will lack power and eventually be damaged.

That's why engineers went to venturi type carbs and then EFI.
