IQv tests are very good at testing the ability to do IQ tests.
I was very good at them as a child, and always got good scores, but even then I was well aware that people who did less well were often cleverer than me.

Just averaging I suppose. It's interesting to see that as I expected my vocabulary is lower than most here, most of the words i've learned over the last 6 years are explicitly technical in nature and I haven't read a work of fiction from cover to cover for several years.

Let me get this straight; My not giving a flying fuck about descriptive writing, causing me to read what is mostly specific technical material with words that simply were not accounted for by that test caused me to get a lower score on a general vocabulary test, and that makes me a Boy Scout?

I didn't write it, but I would be willing to bet any of my vital organs that VOID was definitely intended to be the samurai and not the boy scout.
