Too true. I've seen my own fundy parents do this to my own sister. Their favorite 'bail-out' is to pat someone on the head, say "ohhh, it's ok, I'm not trying to upset you" and then walk away from an argument that they're getting destroyed in. Meanwhile, my sister was completely fine and totally controlled.
Anyway ... right on. Nice catch.

I personally believe that it is the word of God, and it's the only word of God we can base Christianity on. It was either created by a politician to brainwash or a schizophrenic, I don't quite know which one. Not to mention the enumerable untruths set forth in the bible, such as pi being exactly 3. Not to mention, further still, the fact that it isn't a moral book. The Bible condones rape, slavery and many other horrific things.

Where in the Bible does it say pi is 3 and rape is perfectly fine? I've already addressed the slavery thing and how it can benefit people.

Not satisfactorily. Saying you can rape a slave is saying it is perfectly fine. That is not beneficial. That is fucking terrible.

I didn't say raping a slave is fine, that's disgusting! I said slavery, IF under the rules outlined in the Bible which I've already mentioned, is fine and beneficial. The Bible doesn't condone slavery like the previous slavery in the U.S.

"God" indicates the value of Pi = 3 which is known to be incorrect to any math student outside of the Bible Belt.
One does have to back into the computation.
I would expect a 'god' to know what Pi was but not some ignorant goat herder.

I didn't say you said that. The Bible says that. Therefore, you think that raping slaves is fine and beneficial. You are fucking deluded if you think that previous slavery in the U.S. is any worse than slavery in history. The funny thing there is just about the last thing that Jews had to worry about was taking slaves from other nations. They were usually on the losing end of that equation.
