Yes I've heard many times that for each person "god" is just a projection of themself. God always agrees you all your opinions and morals, and supports everything you do. And opposes everything you oppose. And so on.

Soul is part of God so God can not possibly punish himself.
Until our consciousness doesn't reach God consciousness we are stuck in this physical reality and therefore stuck to the positive and negative factors or yin and young.
We build up our karma in the good or bad so the fact that we may suffer has really nothing to do with God.
We may die under horrible circumstances but our soul is not affected.
The soul will take a new body again and again until we learn how to live in a nice way.
Without the karma law this universe could not exist.
Would you give a degree to a student that hasn't learn anything?
